Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) — The term “ACEs” refers to 10 categories of adversities in three domains experienced by 18 years of age that were identified in the landmark 1998 study. For more information go to the ACEs Aware Website.
PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) — This self-report questionnaire is used to assesses the severity of PTSD symptoms. It is based on the DSM-5 criteria for PTSD.
Life Events Checklist for DSM-5 (LEC-5) — This self-report measure is used to assess a person’s exposure to potentially traumatic events that may lead to PTSD.
Dissociation Assessments & Scales
Cambridge Depersonalization Scale — a tool that assesses symptoms of derealization and depersonalization
Dissociative Experiences Scale - II — a tool that assesses a full breadth of symptoms of dissociation; allowing for weighting of the severity of each.
